Robert K. McPherson, 85 years of Dayton, passed away on Thursday September 14, 2017 at Brookhaven.
He was born in Menifee county, KY on April 25, 1932 the son of the late William and Ruth (Whitt) McPherson. Besides his parents he was preceded by his wife, Jane (Koont) McPherson on February 10, 2008 and two brothers Harlin McPherson and Martin McPherson.
Robert was truck driver who enjoyed gardening and playing his banjo.
He is survived by two sons, Robert L. McPherson of Dayton and Randy (Judy) McPherson of Dayton; one daughter, Rhonda Lovett of Grove City, four grandchildren; Kenny (Leslie) McPherson, Ryan Smith, Rod (Erika) Smith and Amber Schmidt and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery
Friends and family may call from 12:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
