Wilma Jean Thiel, 61 of Leesburg passed away Saturday September 9, 2017 at the Jewish Hospital.
Survivors include; her mother, Dorothy Ison of Lynchburg; her husband of forty years, John M. Thiel; daughter, Peggy (Mark) Cumberland of Greenfield; two sisters, Connie (Skip) Henderson and Jenni (Rex) Huffman both of Hillsboro; brother, Bill (Debbie) Ison of Willettsville; several nieces and nephews, Ashley, Taylor, Mandy, Julie, Kim, Kathy, Bobbi, Jami, Shawn, Chad, Shane, Misty, Rusty, and Dusty; sixteen aunts and uncles, Raymond, Pauline, David, Elsie, Carol, Eddie, Rachel, Albert, Sherry, Ernie, Mike, Patsy, Sheila, Brenda, Janice, Sondra and Linda; as well as many other special family members, including her very special Highland District Hospital "family".
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 13 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the funeral home.
