SSCC Theatre Company will present Mark Twain’s “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.
Featuring actors Mark and Leslie Holmes, “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” is a uniquely American theatre piece – funny, beautiful, and deeply moving. The play is a light-hearted look at the world’s first love story through the eyes of America’s legendary humorist. Twain’s Garden of Eden bursts with wit, laughter, and the lyric poignancy of first love and first loss.
Directed by Madison Hatfield, “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” is a special one-night-only reader’s theatre performance produced by SSCC Theatre Company, a group of students and community members dedicated to producing unique performances that complement the SSCC Theatre mainstage season.
Tickets for “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” are $5 and on sale now at sscctheatre.com/tickets/. Credit cards are accepted for online purchases and at the door. Seats for this production will be reserved; it is recommended that tickets be purchased early.
