PHYLLIS JEAN CAMP, age 89, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at her home.
She was born on October 26, 1927 in Clinton County to Harry and Frances Bradshaw Michaels. She was a 1945 graduate of Adams Township. Phyllis was a wife and busy mother to her six children. She had also worked at Calmar for fourteen years and retired in 1990. She enjoyed going to the casino, gardening, fishing, and being with her family.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry William Camp, whom she married on February 1, 1947; son, Larry William Camp; grandson, Jon Dillon; and her eight siblings.
Survivors include her children, Jerry L. (Judy) Camp, Tommy M. Camp, Lu A. Parks, Lisa J. (Gene) Duncan, and David S. Camp; grandchildren, Jerry A. (Stacey) Camp, Melissa L. (Jerry) Brown, Jennifer A. Camp, Larry M. (Tonya) Camp, Kelli (Brad) Frantz, Crystal J. (Zach) Brown, Carrie Haines, Eric J. (Amanda) Scott, J. Steven (Melody) Parks, and Kami Kay Camp; nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In keeping with Mrs. Camp’s wishes, cremation will be observed and there will be no service.
