Joseph C. Berwanger Jr., 85 of Lynchburg passed away Monday August 28, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Berwanger is survived by his wife, Barbara Berwanger whom he married on November 26, 2005. He is also survived by six children, Jolene Hoggatt of Wilmington, Jeanette (Tom) Yankey of Hillsboro, Jacqueline (Tony) Michael of Wilmington, Jerry (Sandy) Berwanger of Sardinia, Judy (Joe) Carlier of Sardinia and Jeff (Lilly) Berwanger of Greenfield; two step-children, Ernie Marshall of Hillsboro and Michelle (Denny) Profitt of Lynchburg; a sister, Dorothy Campbell of Washington C.H. and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
VFW Services will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by Eagle Service, then followed by traditional services at 1:00 p.m. Friday September 1st at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the St. Patrick Cemetery following funeral services.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday September 1, 2017 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
