Carol Lynn (Hurless) Langley, age 69, of Washington C.H. left for her heavenly home on August 26, 2017. She passed at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in Fayette County, Ohio on June 30, 1948 to Ronald and Ruby Moore Hurless. She lived all of her life in this area, graduating from Washington Senior High School. She later received an associate degree from Southern State Community College, and worked several years as a Certified Medical Assistant. She attended Grace Community Church, where she enjoyed visiting with her church family and friends.
Carol will be remembered most for her big heart and loving nature. Whether she was being a proud band mom, spoiling the grand kids, or just setting on the porch with Roy listening to “her birds”, she always enjoyed all life had to offer. Her kindness to everyone and the endless love she showed her family frame memories to be cherished a lifetime. The whole family fondly recalls the fun times and good food shared at her Sunday dinners.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, John Hurless.
Survivors include her mother; her loving husband of 50 years, Roy Langley; children, Michael (Stephanie) Langley of WCH, Michele (Robbie) Vickers of Leesburg and Belinda Kennedy of WCH; grandchildren, Sasha (Ryan) Vickers-White and Corey Kennedy; brother, Mike (Terri) Hurless; and sisters, Shirley (Steve) Pond and Pamela (Mike) Strahler. Also surviving are 2 step grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; and special friends, Robin Walker, Sandy Wehner, and Karen Graham, as well as, many other extended family and a host of friends.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 am until the time of service.
