Shirley Blazer, 61, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on September 15, 1955 in Colorado, the daughter of Herbert L. and Juanita Seymour Blazer.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Blazer of Chillicothe, one daughter; Kelli (Andy) Caplinger of Frankfort, four grandchildren; Ashleh, Dalton, Grace and Emma Skaggs, three great grandchildren; Jack Sowers, Oaklyn Wells and Haddie Skaggs, two sisters; Jacklyn (Jerry) Byers of Chillicothe, Cathy Jo (John) Clark of Frankfort, one brother; Dan (Cathy) Blazer of Frankfort, her second Mom; Joanne Benner of Chillicothe. Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Herbert “Jack” Blazer.
Shirley was a 1973 graduate of Adena High School. She had worked at Showa Aluminum and before working there she worked as a dental assistant for several local dentist.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with the Blazer family on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
