Crash Involving WCH Family

Two young children were transported to hospitals in the region Sunday night, after a semi rear-ended a stalled SUV on U.S. Route 35 near State Route 138 in western Ross County.

The SUV, driven by 19-year-old Todd Hubbell of Millwood Avenue Washington Court House, stalled in the eastbound lane on Route 35 at approximately 9:39pm. A semi-truck, driven by 33-year-old Nicholas Krezenzelok of Lady Smith, Wisconsin slammed into the rear of the SUV.

SUV passengers, two-year-old Zanden and Grayson Mills of Second Street Washington Court House, were both injured. Zanden was flown to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus while Grayson was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center. Hubbell, 18-year-old Gianna Barbiero of Paint Street Washington Court House along with 21-year-old Taylor Matthews of Second Street Washington Court House were not seriously injured. 

Krezenzelok was cited for Assured Clear Distance.
