Kenneth D. Weaver, 82 years of Hillsboro passed away at the Kettering Medical Center on Tuesday August 8, 2017.
He was born in Logan County, OH on January 18, 1935 the son of the late Durward R. Hooley and Lucy Lucille Weaver. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Weaver who passed away April 1, 2017; one daughter, Connie Weaver; one son, Kenneth Weaver; two brothers, Russell and Ray Hooley; and three sisters, Carol Holbrook, Rowena Crowe, and Kate Davis.
Kenneth was a retired truck driver and was a member of F.O.E Aerie #1161.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Donna) Evans of Dayton; daughter, Kay Weaver of Omaha, NE; brother, Richard “Butch” Hooley of Hillsboro; Sister, Roberta Hooley of Hillsboro; two sister-in-laws, Maggie Hooley of Hillsboro and Laverne Hooley of Hillsboro; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family may call at the Thompson Funeral Home on Monday August 14, 2017 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held at Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery on Saturday August 19, 2017 at 11:00AM with Greg Roberts officiating.
