Greg N. Simmons,
Age 65, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away Early Sunday morning, July 23, 2017 at home.
He was born April 30, 1952 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Chester Matthew & Alice Chlotine (Ferguson) Simmons. On March 11, 1972 in Wilmington, he married April G. Davis Simmons, who survives.
A 1970 Wilmington High School Graduate, Greg was an US Navy Disabled Vietnam War Veteran.
In addition to his wife, other surviving are family members are his daughters- Jennifer (Kevin) Tobias,
Beavercreek & Gretchen (Jesse) Edwards, of North Carolina; grandchildren- Grace & Wyatt Edwards
and Audrey & Aiden Tobias; and a sister- Diana Simmons, Wilmington.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother- Craig Simmons.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 26 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home,
97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.
Interment will follow in the Dayton National VA Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio
Friends will be received from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Wednesday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
