Alice J. Cade, 83, of Wilmington, died, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville.
She was born June 21, 1934 in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Retha (Roosa) Hester.
Alice, a Hillsboro High School graduate, attended Blanchester Nazarene Church, and had a love for Bingo, camping, putt putt golf, Tennessee, crocheting and doll collecting.
She had worked for over 40 years at McDonalds and was affectionately known as Grandma Alice and Mrs. Ronald McDonald.
Survivors include daughters, Mary (Jeremy) Johnson of Wilmington, Sheila (Butch Rudduck) West of Sabina; son John (Dawn Newman) Gregory of Edgewood KY; grandchildren Jon and Lindsey West, Ryan (Ashley) Gregory, Kristen Benitez, Stephenie (Derrick) Ison, Cooper Johnson; great grandchildren Adriana, Aidan, and Alexa Benitez, Dillan Gregory, Christian and Alyssa Frisbie; sisters, Betty Osborn of Wilmington, Ann Howard of Berea, KY, Rose Adams of Wilmington, Linda Hughes of New Vienna, Marlene Kessinger of Lynchburg; brother Wesley Hester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lee Cade on December 3, 2005, son Steve Gregory, grandson, Chad Gregory, and a brother Harvey Hester.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Paul R. Crisp officiating. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O. F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM -8:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
