Timothy Corcoran, 63, of Muncie, IN entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, July 11, at his home. He was born November 27, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of Edward and Wilma (Pyles) Corcoran.
He started his career at R&L Carriers, working on the dock, in Wilmington as a dock supervisor. He was promoted to a traveling member that was responsible for diagnosing and correcting problems at terminals all over the country. He spent 19 years at the Alexandria terminal as terminal manager. After retirement, he worked part time for KIA Motors in Muncie, IN.
In his free time, he enjoyed grilling on the patio, watching and talking sports, going to the race track to watch horse racing, playing black jack at the casino, and most of all watching his daughter, Lily, grow up from a young dancer to a current student at BSU. He was a member of the West Side Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Natalie (Shumaker) Corcoran; one daughter, Lily Corcoran, of Muncie; two sons, Sean Corcoran of Indian Lake and Timothy Matthew (Megan) Corcoran of Cincinnati; four grandchildren of Cincinnati: Kylie, Phil, Mason and one on the way
.Visitation will be on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 11am to 2pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial will follow at New Antioch Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, in Tim’s name, are suggested to Muncie Cancer Center.
