Steve Larrick, age 62, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 12, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 4, 1955 in Wilmington, son of the late Denver B. and Helen M. Lykins Larrick.
Steve was a 1974 graduate of Wilmington High School. He had coached softball for over 30 years, having made it into the Clinton County Hall of Fame and the Dayton Softball Legends. Steve was an avid sports fan, having loved his favorite teams the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Football, and Dayton Flyer Basketball. He enjoyed attending many of the Wilmington High School sports games.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy Larrick, whom he married on October 19, 1974, two sons, Allen (Sara) Larrick of Miamisburg, and Brad (Audra) Larrick of Blanchester, five grandchildren, Nathaniel Dalton, Jadence Dalton, Chantz Dalton, Caden Larrick, and Aubree Larrick, brother, Phil (Sharon) Larrick of Washinton Court House, niece, Shaleigh (Sam) Adams, nephew, Wesley Larrick, and a great-nephew, Gavin Adams.
In addition to his parents. Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Tami Larrick.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Monday, July 17, 2017 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Tom Stoops officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
