NANCY JO DAILEY, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 1:01 a.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on September 28, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to George and Dorothy Chancey Ramsey. She was a 1960 graduate of Fairfield High School. Nancy and her late husband, Gene were self-employed and owned and operated Peddler’s Post in Washington CH for over thirty years. She was a member of the Church of Christ on SR 38, and was also involved in the Tuesday Night Ladies Bowling League at Le Ella Lanes. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing slot machines at the casino, visiting with the girls at Pure Addiction Salon, and being with her family and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aaron “Gene” Dailey, whom she married on February 17, 1976; and step-daughter, Nicole Trimmer.
Survivors include her children, Craig (Debbie) Glass, and Keith (Tina) Glass; step-sons, Steve (Beverly) Dailey, and Scott Dailey; grandchildren, Mandy (Jamie) Miller, Ronnie Tolle, Morgan Wyckoff, and Justin Glass; great-grandchildren, Gage Summers, and Holly Miller; and special friends, Maggie Craig, Wilma Sloan, Joan Gibbons, Katie Schorr, and Shirley Willett. Also surviving is a host of friends.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 1550 SR 38 NE, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Bill Myers officiating. Friends may visit Nancy’s family at the church on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
