Marcella J. Elliott, age 82, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Hospice of Cincinnati.
She was born January 8, 1935 in Hamer Township, Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Glen Stewart Campbell and Ruth Mae Walker Campbell.
Marcella was a member of Union Church of Christ, had been a cook at the Old Y Restaurant, and had worked during her life for Robert Shaw Industries, GE, Airborne, and Irwin Auger Bit Co. On January 24, 1954 in Cleves, Indiana, she married Ray David Elliott, who passed away on March 28, 1992.
Surviving are seven nieces and nephews, Shawn Epperhart, Todd Campbell, Kim Campbell, Shannon Epperhart, Vicki Zervis, Barbara Zervis, and Michael Zervis, many great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great-niece, brother, Clarence "Peanut" Campbell of New Market, and a sister-in-law, Ruth Elliott.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marcella was preceded in death by a niece, Cathy Hinson, and two sisters, Patricia Ann Epperhart and Shirley Zervis.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. , Hillsboro, OH 45133, Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Josh Book officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
