John R. "Bud" Sterling, 78 of Greenfield passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home.
He married Betty (Knisley) Sterling on December 31, 1958. For the past 25 years he has been a loyal caregiver to her. She survives along with six children, Kimberly (Tim) Thompson of Xenia, David (Phyllis) Sterling of Peebles, Thomas (Annettee) Sterling of Chillicothe, Kathy (David) Burgess of South Salem, Krisandra (Steve) Miller of Yorkville, Jonathan Sterling of Bainbridge; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Brother Jason Burgess officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
