Howard D. "Hap" Smith, 79 of New Martinsburg passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Bethesda North Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Jean A. (Mullikin) Smith whom he married on November 2, 2001; three sons, Howard D. "Buzz" Smith, Hugh D. "Denny" (Kelly) Smith, and Heath D. "Dusty" (Kellie) Smith all of New Martinsburg; nine grandchildren, Justin, Levi, Kyle, Seth, Josie, Megan, Makenzie, Ryan, and Sara Smith; great grandchildren, Isaac, Ian, Kyler, Riley, Brookllyn, and Kane; two brothers, Dean (Mary) Smith of Phoenix, AZ and Joe (Sandy) Smith of New Holland; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the New Martinsburg Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Randy Beatty officiating. Masonic services will also be provided.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
