Daniel Evans, 82, of Bainbridge, Ohio passed away May 25th, 2017. He was born January 24th, 1935 in Kentucky, the son of Seth and Iva Parrish Evans.
On May 14th, 1955 he married Ruth Ann Wrights, who survives. He is also survived by daughters, Leeann (Tony) Yoakum, Debbie (Lou) Evans; grandchildren, Sonya (Joe) Mitchell, Kenny Ault, Ben (Ashley) Yoakum and Jon (Heidi) Yoakum; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Jeanie) Evans and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Tub" Evans, sister, Lucy Pauline Evans and nephew, Rodney Evans.
Daniel served in the Air force for 6 years. He worked at the Mead and was a farmer for 35 years. After retiring from the Mead in 1997, he worked at Paint Creek State Park for several summers. He loved his family, airplanes, restoring antique furniture and NASCAR races.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 30th at Bainbridge Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the Bainbridge American Legion on Saturday, June 10th at 2:00 pm. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Bainbridge is serving the family.
