Malinda Jane O’Cull, 68 years of Hillsboro, OH., passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017. She was born In Highland County, OH. on March 4, 1949, the daughter of the late William Edward and Margaret C. (Overman) Gorman.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Mary Ann Peterson.
Malinda was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, attended Good News Gathering and worked for several years as a Nurses Aid at Highland District Hospital, Oakland Care Center and Heartland of Hillsboro.
She is survived by two daughters Jenny (Toby Parker) Stodgel of Wilmington, OH., Sara (Dana Conley) O’Cull of Hillsboro, OH.; one son DJ (Anita) O’Cull of Hillsboro, OH.; eight grandchildren Desarae (Doug Williams) Bailey, Reba (Rob) Young, Kari Hesler, Bryan J O’Cull, Alexx J O’Cull, Cyndi (John) Sevitts, Doug Hamm, Erin (Erick Kilpatrick) Hamm; eight great grandchildren Clarissa and Stephanie Bailey, Kieran, David, Audrey and Kesleigh Young, Gable and Cali Sevitts; one brother James (Linda) Gorman of Hillsboro, OH.; two sisters Sharon Kay (Ron) Lamb of New Vienna, OH., Donna Sue Gorman of Hillsboro, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hardin’s Creek Cemetery at Bridges. Friends may call Sunday May 21, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
