With the school year ending, a huge wave of college grads will be entering the workforce, competing for jobs.
But according to a survey of job recruiters, there’s one skill that’s more important than the college major.
In the survey, 65% of the recruiters said that strong written or spoken communication skills are more important than the major.
Strong communicators end up having a competitive edge, both because companies need their employees to have these skills – and because very few college grads actually have these skills. (Forbes)
