Shirley A. Hagman, age 54, of Washington C.H., Ohio passed away at her home in the early morning of Friday, May 5, 2017. Her death was sudden and unexpected.
Shirley was born in Fayette County on March 10, 1963 to the late Albert and JoAnne Hilderbrand Ellenberger. She was a 1981 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Shirley lived many years in Columbus, before returning to this area in 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, along with her many fur babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; James F. Hagman Sr., whom she married January 17, 1995; a sister, Rita Noes; and a brother, Roger Ellenberger.
Surviving are her daughter Ellen M. Hagman (Tony Termini) of WCH; step children, Tricia Hagman and Donald (Dawn) Hagman of Columbus, and James (Misato) Hagman Jr. of Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Carol Boggs of Hilliard, Virginia Frazier and Krista (Richard) Crowe of WCH and Alberta (Todd) Mann of Hamilton; brothers, Dale (Darlene) Ellenbarger of Martinsville, Greg (Pam) and David (Shawna) Ellenberger both of WCH and Paul (Dawn) Ellenberger of Sabina; as well as, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life is planned for 7pm Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH with pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at a later date for the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
