Goldie Mae Massie, age 64, of Washington CH passed away on the morning of May 5, 2017 at Signature HealthCare of Fayette County.
Goldie was born on June 3, 1952 in Mt. Sterling to the late Theodore and Alice Rowe Massie. She had lived all of her life in this area. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in WCH.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Melvin, Robert, Teddy and Gene Massie; sister, Gladys Marie Woolever; nephews, David, Paul and Daniel Woolever; niece, Debbie Geisel; and great nephew, Paul Woolever Jr.
Surviving are her nieces, Alice Belle Woolever Coy of WCH and Mary Willett of Greenfield; great nieces and nephews; Timmy and Chrissy Woolever, Robert and Derek Willett, Calianna Sandifer, Harley Hilderbrant and Michael Coy. Goldie is also survived by family member and special friend Elsie Blevens; as well as, a host of friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for 11am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH with pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday May 9th at the funeral home from 4 to 7pm.
