Ralph L Jones, age 93, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, April 10, 2017 in Signature Health Care of Washington Court House. He was born in Madison County on March 30, 1924. Son of the late Emanuel and Edna (Crampton) Jones.
Mr. Jones worked numerous years at the grain elevator in Mt. Sterling known as Grove City Farmers Exchange. (Grove City, Derby and Mt. Sterling)
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jones in September of 2000.
He is survived by special friends Mel and Marty Wickensimer and many church friends who also visited him at the care facility.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Mel Wickensimer officiating. There will be no public visitation as cremation has been requested. Arrangements were made under the direction of PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
