Gloria G. Weaver, 68 years of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday April 1, 2017.
She was born in Highland County, OH. on February 7, 1949, the daughter of the late Forrest and Alma (Hart) Knauff. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law Raymond and Russell Hooley: three sisters-in-law Rowena Crouse, Carol Holbrook and Kathryn Davis.
Gloria was a nature person, loving the outsdoor. She was a former member of the F.O.E. Aerie #1161 Ladies Auxiliary, Hillsboro.
Gloria is survived by her husband Kenneth Weaver; step son Rick Evans of Beaver Creek, OH.; step daughter Kay Weaver of Nebraska; two brothers Kelly Knauff of Seaman, Dean Knauff of Hillsboro: four sisters Donna Burris of Hillsboro, Marsha Wilson of Springfield, OH., Kathy Knauff of Hillsboro, Jeannette Seymour of Hillsboro; one brother-in-law Richard “Butch” Hooley of Hillsboro; two sisters-in-law Roberta “Birdie” Hooley of Hillsboro, Maggie Hooley of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the Convenience of the Family in the Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery.
