JO ANN HAYSLIP

Jo Ann Hayslip, 75, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Continental Manor, Blanchester, Ohio.  Her husband, Robert Eugene Hayslip, preceded her in death in 1980.  They were married September 9, 1961.  Mrs. Hayslip was born December 27, 1941 in Lawshe, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas Vincent Arey and Ruby Mae Hoop Arey.  She was a graduate of Peebles High School.

Mrs. Hayslip had worked at We Welcome Day Care and Rainbow Village Day Care.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat, and doing word searches.

Mrs. Hayslip is survived by a son, Michael Hayslip of Bladensburg, Maryland; a daughter, Tammy (Michael) Haines of Blanchester, Ohio; a brother, David Arey of Peebles, Ohio; a sister, Charlene (Eugene) Kessler of Sabina, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyle (Casey) Hayslip of Peebles, Ohio and Kayla (Tony) Whitt of Blanchester, Ohio; four great grandchildren; and a close friend, Nancy Boldman.  In addition to her husband and parents, a dear friend, Helen Kirchmeir, is preceded in death.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 27 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St., Wilmington, Ohio.  Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Peebles, Ohio.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Monday, March 27 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.  Friends are invited to join the family for a meal at 3:00 PM, on Monday at the Blanchester Senior Center.
