KENNETH WILLIAM “KENNY” MILLER, age 72, of North Carolina, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 12:52 a.m. at the McDowell Hospital.
He was born on May 25, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to Kenneth I. and Margaret Pittenger Miller. He was a 1962 graduate of Washington High School and attended The Ohio University. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He had worked at Thatcher Plastics and Yusa Corp. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, a former member of Kiwanis of Washington CH, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Randall Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Wolfe Miller, whom he married on June 27, 1970; his children, Jennifer Miller and Carrie (Harold) Markel; grandchildren, Cayde and Jordan Brannon; brother, Donald (Elaine) Miller; sister-in-law, Joyce Miller; father-in-law, Carl Wolfe as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Don Young officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
