Carole R. Robinson, 78, of Martinsville, Ohio passed away 5:30 AM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at her residence. Her husband of 59 years, Ray R. Robinson, survives. They were married October 3, 1957. Mrs. Robinson was born February 6, 1939 in Martinsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Foster Dunseith. She was a 1957 graduate of Martinsville High School.
Carole served on the Martinsville Village Council for 34 years. She liked going to auctions and always enjoyed a good debate.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Robin (Jeff) Nichols; a son, Ryan Robinson; three grandchildren, Donna Storer, Jenna Nichols, and James Richard Robinson; a great grandson, Aaron Robinson; a nephew, James C. Robinson; and special friends, Dolly and Mike Jones. In addition to her parents, a daughter, Rayetta Robinson, and a sister, June Ley, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
