Lois L. Large, 87 of Brookville OH, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2017 in Dayton.
She was born in South Shore, KY on June 1, 1929 the daughter of the late Raymond & Lola (Clary) Howland.
Besides her parents she was preceded by her husband, Thurman Large on April 18, 2016 as well as one brother Clifford Howland.
Lois is survived by, one daughter; Deborah (Thomas) Fredrick of Beaver Creek; one son, Roger Thomas Large of Arcanum; 3 grandchildren, Lora Shuttleworth, Tess (Anthony) Slominski, and Pamela (Marlen) Bourne; 9 great grandchildren, Ben Orrison, Sonya Sessor, Ashley Dunlavy, Lauren Shuttleworth, Haley Shuttleworth, Alexis Bourne, Madison Bourne, Lily Benton, and Tucker Slominski; and 6 great-great grandchildren, Hannah Stapleton, Ethan Sessor, Hailey Jo Sessor, Blake Dunlaby, Gunnar Dulavy and Braydon Sessor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 am until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
The family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Dayton.
