Loren Eugene Riley, 90, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 10:50 a.m. at his residence.
Mr. Riley was born April 17, 1926, in Fayette County, Ohio to Samuel and Blanche Lowe Riley and lived most of his life in this community.
Before his retirement, he had worked more than 45 years at General Motors. He had also built homes in the Belle-Aire and Storybrook subdivisions.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his wife, the former Loretta M. Ursell on February 26, 1999, and by a brother and three sisters.
He is survived by five children, Sherry Riley, Teena Keaton and her husband, David, and Richard Riley, all of Washington Court House, Ron Riley and his wife, Robin, of Sabina and Paul Riley of Jeffersonville; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
