Lawrence H. "Larry" Wilson, 69, of Chillicothe, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center, Frankfort. He was born on March 25, 1947 in Rochester PA. On February 18, 1992 he married the former Linda West, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Lawrence N. “Nate” Wilson of Chillicothe, Mary N. Wilson, Amanda Lynn Wilson, William C. “Cody” Wilson, all of Circleville, three step-daughters, Teresa L. Pryor of Circleville, Jean M. Timmons, Susan K. Rayburn, both of Frankfort, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister, Annette Wilson of Pittsburgh PA, and mother-in-law, Sue West, of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Columbiana, and earned his nursing degree from Kent State University. Larry served his country in the United States Navy and Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Richmondale Church of Christ in Christian Union, and worked as a psychiatric nurse in the Ohio prison system.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Pastor Brett Smith officiating. A graveside service will follow on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd, Canal Winchester.
