Walter ‘Bud’ Clifton, age 81, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2017. Born in Sabina on October 18, 1935, Bud was the son of Blaine and Imogene ‘Storer’ Clifton.
Bud was a Martinsville High School graduate and worked for AVI Vending as a branch manager.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth ‘Cox’ Clifton. The two were married on June 3, 1958. Also left to cherish Bud’s memory is a daughter, Teresa Hamilton; grandchildren: Megan Wallace and Kyle (Ashley) Hamilton; and great-grandchildren: Parker and Peyton and Porter Wallace and Cambrie Hamilton. Surviving siblings include: Robert (Regina) Clifton, Wayne (Dena) Clifton, and Larry Clifton. Bud is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Clifton, and sister, Evelyn Cochran.
Family will receive friends, at Littleton Funeral Home, on Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 11-1pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial will follow at Sabina Cemetery.
