June Fennig, 89 of Jeffersonville, Ohio passed away on February 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Circleville, Ohio on January 27, 1928 to the late Creed and Ora Beatty Cook. June was a charter member of the Good Shepherd Luthern Church in Washington C.H., Ohio. She worked for Miami Trace Schools for 25 years as an aide in the Junior High and High School. June loved music and sang solos for various occasions and was a member of the Sicilian singing group. In her spare time she was very crafty. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, cut glass work, painting, sewing and reading. She played cards in a card group with her closest friends for many years. She greatly enjoyed her nightly game of Ruzmmykub since moving in with family in 2014.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Lee and Glenn Cook, sister Charlotte Cupp and husband of 45 years (1946-1991) Lloyd Eugene Fennig.
June is survived by her daughter Ann (Roger) Spahr of Jeffersonville, Ohio and two sons Alan (Anna) Fennig, and Bruce (Janice) Fennig, both of Chandler, AZ. Grandchildren: Nicholas (Sandy) Spahr, Shellie (Shane) Self, Paige Fennig, Paulette Fennig, Matthew (Jessica) Fennig, Isabella Fennig, Jacob Fennig, Darian Taylor, Josh Taylor, Odysseus Tannehill. Great-grandchildren: Kyle Case, Gracen Blake, Parker Self, Peyton Self, and Evan Fennig.
A private family service will be held.
