Paul Douglas Dolph, 66 of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the Highland District Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of nearly forty years, Judy (Hager) Dolph, whom he married February 26, 1977 in Wilmington. He is also survived by his father, Corky (Shirley) Dolph of Lynchburg; his mother, Phyllis Hixson of Clarksville; four children, Alan Larson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Penelope (Billy) Brownsberger of Lynchburg, Robert (Lauralee) Dolph of Clarksville and Paul Jr. (Whitney) Dolph of Ft. Thomas, KY: thirteen grandchildren, Savanah, Alanah, Andrew, Candice, Jessica, Billy, Dustin, Grace, Olivia, Abby, Robby, Josie, and Brady; three great grandchildren, Morgan, Colin and Madalyn; his mother-in-law, Better Hager of Irvine, KY; two brothers, Tim Dolph of Lynchburg and Willis Hixson of Clarksville; an uncle, James (Barbara) Dolph of Virginia; three brothers-in-law, Howard (Florene) Hager of Germantown, George Hager of Miamisburg, and Charlie Hager of Irvine; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
Burial: will follow in the Barnes Cemetery in Fairview.
Visitation: 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in Lynchburg.
