OSU Coach Urban Meyer To Retire

The Ohio State University has confirmed that Urban Meyer will end his coaching career following the Rose Bowl vs. Washington on January 1st.

Assistant Coach Ryan Day was named as Meyer's replacement at a press conference held Tuesday afternoon.

Meyer stated issues with persistent headaches from a cyst on his brain have become more frequent the last two seasons after a 2014 surgery to relieve fluid from the cyst.

Meyer led the Buckeyes to the first College Football Playoff national championship in 2014 and just guided their third Big Ten title game win last Saturday night.
