Miranda Lambert headlined the 2024 Stagecoach Festival on Saturday night (April 27) with a set that included the debut live performance of her unreleased, fiery revenge anthem, and an unforgettable surprise guest: Reba McEntire. The beloved country music legend joined the “If I Was A Cowboy” powerhouse on stage to deliver a duet version of one of Lambert’s biggest career hits.
The “two queens of country” teamed up to perform Lambert's “Mama’s Broken Heart” and “Gunpowder and Lead.” They also delivered a duet version of McEntire's classic country anthem “Fancy.” Lambert wrote in a caption on Instagram following the Stagecoach performance: “Reba at stagecoach y’all. 🤯🤩Thank you to my hero and friend for coming out here as my special guest. I’ll never forget it. She brought all the fire 🔥.”
McEntire also reminisced on that moment, writing: “What a night!!! Thanks [Miranda Lambert] for asking me to be part of [Stagecoach] last night. And thanks to all the [country music] fans for sticking with us in that wind!”
On Monday morning (April 29), Lambert also shared a video of the moment she delivered the first live performance of her soon-to-release single for the Stagecoach crowd. Lambert recently confirmed her new single, “Wranglers,” will arrive on Friday (May 3). She shared a sneak peek of the revenge anthem on Instagram last week: “If he ever loved her/ He never let it show/ If she didn’t need him/ She’d a left him long ago/ She set it all on fire/ And if there’s one thing that she learned/ Wranglers take forever to burn.”
