"Sunday Creek Horizons" Offers Support to Ross County Commissioners

A company that offers to help with regional advocacy and financing chatted with the Ross County Commissioners Monday. Kevin Coleman was there.

Congressman Zack Space represented Ohio’s 18th District from 2006 to 2011, which included most of Ross County.

He is now the president of "Sunday Creek Horizons," which bills itself as bringing millions of dollars from state, federal and private sources into Appalachian Ohio. Space they are using their relationships, institutional knowledge, and passion to bring the region together and help it reach its full potential.

Senator Jay Hottinger, who represented Licking County for 28 years in the Ohio Legislature, also spoke.

The commissioners asked how the company might be able to help them finance maintenance and improvements of their historic properties at Paint and Main: the Courthouse, Old Jail, and LCNC Bank building.

Space said Chillicothe's downtown is the most vibrant in the Ohio Appalachian Region.
