Hillsboro police jailed a man on multiple counts Thursday.
Shortly before noon, officers responded to report of menacing on West Main Street but found that the suspect had left the scene.
Officers later found 23-year-old Ivan McClure of Hillsboro driving, and attempted to stop him, but he got away. They then received a call that he was in the 400 block of South High Street...where he was eventually taken into custody.
McClure was charged for aggravated menacing, assault, failure to comply with police, reckless operation, as well as license plate lights, headlights, and turn signal. McClure was transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
