Norovirus causes illnesses

Health officials say norovirus is to blame for sickening more than one-hundred people during a recent Girl Scout "camporee". The Scioto County Health Department reports the outbreak occurred over the weekend of May 13th when a group of Girl Scouts held an event at Camp Molly Lauman in Lucasville. One-hundred-17 individuals ultimately reported symptoms of the virus, with two children hospitalized.
