Washington CH Schools to Simulate Winter Weather Power Outage

On Wednesday, December 8th, Washington Court House City Schools say they will perform a state-mandated test of the district’s Emergency Operating Procedures with a simulated winter weather power outage. The outage will be regulated by their maintenance department and should last about 30 minutes.

Washington High School will be without power from 9 to 9:30am, while the rest of the district will experience the outage from 1:30 to 2:00pm. District phones and internet will be inoperable.

This test of the Emergency Operating Procedures will be conducted with assistance from Fayette County Emergency Management Agency, Washington Court House Police Department, Washington Court House Fire Department, and Fayette County EMS.
