Miami Trace Handles Lady Cavs 58-36

Miami Trace rode a big third quarter to a win over the Chillicothe Lady Cavs by a final of 58-36. The Lady Cavs answered the FAC leading Panthers through out the first half, but a 19-4 MT third quarter broke the game open.

The Lady Panther trapping half court defense slowed down the Lady Cavs and produced transition baskets to get the Lady Panthers out to a comfortable lead. MT hit 8 of 11 third quarter shots to take a double digit advantage.

The Lady Panthers featured balanced scoring as Hillery Jacobs hit for 14, Delaney Eakins notched 13, and Gracee Stewart added 13. Miami Trace shot a nifty 52% from the floor on 23 off 44. MT was 6 of 13 from the three point line.

Chillicothe was led by Jaycey Harding's 14 points and 11 from Avery Erslan. The Lady Cavs were 14 of 46 from the field for 30%, and just 2 of 15 on threes.

The Lady Cavs out rebounded the bigger Panthers 26-20 and hustled the glass for 13 offensive rebounds.
