Madison County Solar Farm Effort Receives Approval

An effort to construct a solar farm in Madison County has received approval from the Ohio Power Siting Board. The Madison Fields Solar Project will occupy nearly 1,000 acres near the community of Rosedale in Pike Township. The project will include associated facilities, such as: access roads, meteorological stations, electric collection lines, and a substation. The farm will be a 180-megawatt facility.
