DeWine Issues Overnight Curfew Beginning November 19th

(24/7 News Source) -- Governor Mike DeWine is putting in new restrictions to curb COVID-19 cases. All retail establishments statewide must now close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This rule goes into effect Thursday and lasts 21-days.

Some exceptions include grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations and pharmacies. The curfew also does not apply to carry-out or delivery of meals, though dine-in will not permitted after 10 p.m.

The governor also said that this curfew does not apply to people who are going to work, going to the hospital or responding to an emergency situation.

Last week DeWine contemplated closing other businesses, but has since stepped back, implementing this measure instead.
