Washington CH High School Votes To Postpone Homecoming Dance

The student body at Washington Court House High School has voted to postpone their annual homecoming dance due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

Student leaders and advisors presented alternative options to both the junior and senior class, but ultimately, students elected to postpone the dance to a later date in the school year.

The district’s homecoming parade has also been scrubbed. However, the traditional naming of a homecoming court, king and queen will still take place this Friday, September 25th ahead of the Blue Lions football game with McClain.

The homecoming court’s introduction will be streamed live on the district’s Facebook page.
