Former Fayette Domestic Violence Administrators Indicted On Federal Charges

Two former executives of a domestic violence shelter in Fayette County are accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the organization.

Federal authorities say My Sister's House executive director Crystal Chrisman and bookkeeper Jaime Cardinal are alleged to have used the stolen funds for personal expenses, including a trip to Disney World and Universal Studios. The charges are federal since grants from the Department of Justice are alleged to have been stolen by the two former employees.

If convicted, the two face up to ten years in federal prison.
