A Brown County woman was killed in a hit-skip incident, Sunday morning.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to reports of a woman lying in the median on State Route 32 near Schweighart Road in Brown County around 6:30am.
Troopers arrived on scene and discovered that 45-year-old Alivia J. Shumate from Sardinia, had been struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. No witnesses have been identified at this time.
