Former OSU Legend Cris Carter Helps Fight Hunger During COVID-19

(Dayton, OH) -- Former Ohio State legend and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter is establishing a new charity to help feed the hungry during the pandemic.

Carter spoke over the weekend about his new "Project Isaiah" foundation, which will provide free boxed meals to those in need through Gate Gourmet, which services food to the airlines.

Carter grew up in Troy and Middletown, as one of six children in a single-parent home, and said he knows first-hand about the struggles with food insecurity.

Carter was an All-American at OSU in the 1980s and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
