Highland County rescue personnel found no sign of a driver after an upside down Jeep was located in Rocky Fork Lake, Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:49pm Wednesday, the Highland County dive team was requested by officers from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, due to a vehicle being in the water at fishermans wharf launch ramp. Divers arrived on scene with personnel from the Rainsboro Fire/Squad Station, ODNR and representatives from the Highland County Sheriff where their initial concerns were of a possible victim in the vehicle.
Due to water conditions, the divers were unable to ascertain whether anyone was in the vehicle. They swam a tow line to the vehicle from a waiting tow truck and assisted on scene until the vehicle was completely removed from the water.
Officials say they do not have information on the owner of the vehicle or the whereabouts of the driver.
