Strong Storms Hit Area For Second Straight Night

Strong storms rolled through the area for a second straight night.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington says there is evidence of a tornado going through parts of Highland and Brown counties just before midnight. There are some reports of minor damage, and investigators will have to survey the area to determine if it really was caused by a tornado.

Janet Butler of Union Stockyards in Hillsboro told iHeart Media News that the roof of their hog barn was blown off, most likely by straight line winds. Radar wind estimates from Channel 5 out of Cincinnati claimed there were 100 MPH winds between the village of Samantha and Greenfield.

There have been numerous reports of golf-ball size hail, and downed trees and power lines.
