More Public Restrictions Begin April 6th Inside WCH City Buildings

The Washington CH City Building will be further restricted to public access starting Monday, April 6th. That's when the Washington CH City Building will restrict public access beyond the building’s entry area, according to City Manager Joe Denen.

Residents needing to drop off payments for utility bills will be required to use the drop-box located near the building front Main Street entrance. If a resident needs an envelope for their payment they, as well as utility contracts for new service, will be available inside the building’s entry area. Questions and payments over the phone can still be handled by calling (740) 636-2344. Online and payments made by U.S. Post are also still available.

The City Income Tax Department’s lobby on North Main Street will remain open but only one person at a time will be allowed to enter. Completed tax returns can also be placed in that department’s drop-box located at 105 North Main Street. If you have local income tax questions, you are encouraged to call the City of Washington CH Tax Department at (740) 636-2342.
