Washington C.H. Council met in regular session last night with all members present.
City Manager Joseph Denen introduced featured speaker Leigh Cannon of the Fayette County Public Health Department. She outlined steps being taken and an overview of the departments handling of the Coronavirus.
There are no reported cases of the virus currently in Fayette County.
Denen also announced the addition of a new patrol officer, Jason Copas to the Police Department.
And, Council was treated to a presentation by students from Belle Aire elementary on their project to bring attention and awareness to litter and trash concerns in the community.
